ABC TRUST FUNDRAISER (www.abctrust.org.uk) April 3, 2004 - North Hollywood, California We will be holding this event at Remo Drums in N. Hollywood. It is an afternoon event (from about 1:00 -5:00 pm) at Remo Drums. This event will include an acoustic set by Zeppelin tribute band Led Zepagain (www.zepagain.com), a martial arts exhibition, and refreshments. Our special host for this event will be drummer Jonathan Moffett (who has toured with Madonna, Elton John & The Jacksons). We will either be doing a silent auction and/or a raffle to raise money for ABC. ABC Founding Patron, Jimmy Page, has signed items for the auction including two Led Zeppelin albums, a silk screen print, and a photograph donated by Frank Melfi (www.frankmelfi.com). Others include items signed by Bruce Kulick, No Doubt and Neil Peart. Also, there will be a print by photographer Ron Raffaelli (from the hardcover 1969 tour book) donated by Tom Wright (www.mobiusgallery.net). Mr. Melfi has also tentatively agreed to attend this event and have some of his wonderful photographs on exhibit and for sale. Rock memorabilia collector and Zeppelin author Samuel Ketenjian (www.spkmusic.com) will have a table set up with items from his collection (not limited to just Led Zeppelin!) that can also be purchased. There are several other things in the works and as soon as all the details are finalized, I will let you all know. Admission to this event is $20 in advance or $25 at the door and all proceeds from admission, auctions and the raffle will go to ABC. Your paid admission also enters you into the drawings for the door prizes which are being donated by Modern Drummer magazine and local businesses.
